YAA is powered by a team of enthusiastic volunteers who organise events and help shape our community. Every committee has its own focus, but together they make YAA a place where you can connect, learn and grow. Discover the committees below and find out what makes YAA more than just a network.

Arts & Culture
Explore the world of art, culture and creativity. From exhibitions and performances to unique cultural experiences, the Arts & Culture Committee aims to make culture accessible, inspiring and fun for everyone.

Board
The board of YAA consists of eight very enthusiastic and passionate members. Together they are responsible for the strategy of YAA and all committees. The board is in close contact with young professional networks of other corporate organisations and of course with our ABN AMRO offices in France, Germany, Belgium, and the UK.

FLAIRS

Meet fellow young professionals of ING, Rabobank, Van Lanschot Kempen, and de Volksbank at FLAIRS, the largest inter-banking event in the Netherlands. Each year, FLAIRS is organised as a one-day event for the young ambitious bankers of these youth associations, with a program that addresses the current situation on the financial industry.

Hockeyteam

More than just hockey. The Young ABN AMRO Hockey Team brings together colleagues who enjoy being active, meeting new people and having fun as a team. Throughout the season, we play regular matches against other companies and often stay for a drink afterwards. It's a great way to build connections across while enjoying the sport you love. Hockey experience is required.

Innovation

Curious about new technologies, trends and ways of thinking? The Innovation Committee brings fresh ideas to life through inspiring events, workshops and collaborations. Whether it's design thinking, innovation in banking or learning how to program, this committee is all about exploring what's next.

International

Broaden your horizons and build connections beyond borders. Once a year, we meet up with our international colleagues for “The International Event”, packed with brainstorming, networking, and fun in one of the YAA countries: the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, or the United Kingdom.

Lustrum

Only active once every five years, the Lustrum Committee is responsible for creating unforgettable celebrations to mark Young ABN AMRO's milestones. Think standout events, special experiences and memorable moments that bring the entire community together.

Marketing & Communications

This group of creative enthusiasts informs our members on upcoming events and spread the YAA love throughout the bank, via our different channels. They work closely with all committees to showcase events, share stories and strengthen the YAA community.

Personal Development

Step outside your comfort zone and invest in your personal growth. Experience things you think you are not capable of, develop new skills or learn something new during one of the lunch learners. And ofcourse we cannot forget about the recurring Linked-In photoshoot.

Sports

Whether you're highly competitive or simply enjoy staying active, the Sports Committee has something for everyone. From padel tournaments and the annual ski trip to intercompany sports events, this committee helps members connect through movement and fun.

Sustainability

Want to make a positive impact? The Sustainability Committee raises awareness and inspires action through events focused on environmental and social sustainability like beach clean-ups. Explore how small actions can make a big difference.

Young Events ABN AMRO (YEAA)

This committee brings you the best moments beyond work: monthly drinks, summer boat parties, the annual intercompany festival and more. Meet, mingle, and make memories with the YEAA.
